Position Responsibilities:
- Specify and evaluate
components and assemblies in accordance system requirements and company
standards.

component specifications, including functional qualification, regulatory
compliance, inspection, and testing criteria.
- Track and resolve end of
life and lifetime buy issues.
- Assist in finding sources
and substitutes.
- Work with team members to
standardize components and reduce life time costs.

support issues.

Experience / Skills Required:
- BSEE degree
- Must have demonstrated
abilities in component engineering.
- Must have knowledge of component
testing and failure analysis.
- Must have knowledge
of reliability analysis.
- Requires expert knowledge
in the area of specifying electronic components and assemblies for new and
legacy equipment.
- Must be able to present
information clearly and efficiently between team members verbally and in
writing.
- Excellent skills in the
areas of writing and verbal communications are required.

Maintenance Mechanic
